I think the player limit in each DZ is 12 players but I could be wrong. If that is the case then there are just less people running around.2. To re-calibrate you go up to the station and chose and item you want to re-calibrate. From there you choose the stat/perk you want to re-calibrate. You then take a perk off of a similar item (ie re-calibrating knee pads requires knee pads, recalibratingan SMG requires an SMG). You then apply that stat/perk to that item. The one thing to remember is you can only recalibrate a stat for one of the same color (damage=red, Skill=yellow, Defense=blue).

I have run into quite a few players and groups of players in the dark zone. Yes you can clear sites for pretty good loot and extract it.To recalibrate an item you have to have a similar item that you will remove the statistic you want to put on the original the donor item is destroyed in the process.Select the item you want to changeselect the stat you want to updateyou will then see a list of items that you can remove a stat from and put it on the originalyou accept the change and the item will update and potentially upgrade the gear scorethe donor item is destroyed in the process.
