A couple new things were added here and there, but my main concern is the fact that I am unable to place certain lots due to the fact that they were made for newer versions. And for that reason, I ask for the Internets help with updating the Sims 4. And if worse comes to worse, and it isn't able to be updated, is there at least anyway to navigate around the inability to place lots? The obvious answer might be to just wait until FitGirl updates the packs, but even so, I don't exactly know how to move all my important files and what not from a cracked version of the Sims to another version of the cracked Sims.

After downloading it, I ran the installer and checked the box that said something along the lines of “replace codex files directly in crack yata yata,” I then set the directory to my Fitgirl sims 4 repack, and hit install.
(It’s important to note, each codex update works off the previous, so before you install the latest version right off the bat, you must install every previous codex update working up to the latest one.)Edit for clarity: By “every previous codex update,” I mean the codex updates leading up from the current Sims version you have to the one you want.
